About the Roadshow
The EO Capital Roadmap is a bold national initiative to mobilize $1.5 billion into employee ownership in the next few years, $10 billion by 2040, and lay the groundwork for 10x growth beyond. Developed with input from 150+ funders, investors, advisors and field leaders, it charts the path to making employee ownership a cornerstone of the American economy.
In 2026, we’re taking the Roadmap on the road. Through in-person convenings, virtual events and strategic partnerships, the Roadshow strengthens coordination, surfaces capital ready to deploy and accelerates execution at the local level.
Why now
“Nearly 3 million U.S. businesses — representing tens of trillions in assets — are transitioning ownership over the coming decades.”
Without intentional capital allocation, this transition risks further ownership concentration, business consolidation and erosion of local economic resilience.
At the same time, investors across the spectrum — from impact funds and family offices to institutional allocators — increasingly recognize employee ownership as a credible, scalable M&A pathway capable of delivering competitive risk-adjusted returns alongside measurable impact.
Capital interest is rising. Policy tailwinds are emerging. Field infrastructure is maturing.
The Roadshow is designed to coordinate this momentum — aligning private, catalytic and mission-driven capital to accelerate deployment.
